Teach-In FAQ

  • A light breakfast (pastries and coffee) and lunch from Taybbeh will be provided. Taybbeh is 100% halal with vegetarian and gluten-free options. We will have cups, but please plan to bring a water bottle and feel free to bring extra snacks

  • Yes, childcare is being provided by Project People Hub for children between 1 and 11 years of age. Children are required to be registered through the provider's registration link by 5 PM on April 15th, 2025. Unfortunately, we will be unable to offer childcare for any children who are not registered.

  • There is a clearly marked prayer room/quiet space for participants to access throughout the day. UBC’s Centre for Community Engaged Learning will be offering a concurrent space for artistic and written reflection.

  • This event will be recorded with video and photography. If you are uncomfortable being photographed or recorded, please identify yourself to the photographer/videographer or one of the staff working.
